If you don't know how to thoroughly inspect a used vehicle, take a mechanic friend with or just stead clear of this place. My wife wanted to buy a cheap expedition from Bemis. I went with to perform a test drive and inspection. I found an oil leak at the oil cooler, bad axle seal (probably bearings and shaft as well) and various other small things. When my wife talked to the salesman about the serious shortcomings of the vehicle she received a gruff and unapologetic, "I would expect problems buying a vehicle for that price".
I bought a truck from Bemis auto... After having it for 2 days the power steering was leaking all over... So I called them and they said to bad it's my prob so I have to deal with it.... All of this while he was screaming at me on the phone...
The repair cost would easily equal the purchase price.
Have not had one problem with any purchase. I just love to upgrade every year and perfect place to do so; cheap and great running cars!! Thank you
iI just read some reviews and it is very upsetting. Rob is a great guy trying to provide clean cheaper cars at a VERY FAIR price. this is my story........i purchased an older Audi A6 with 150k on it. my girlfriend drove it for two years and it was the best car I've ever owned. when it was time to sell it i put new tires and breaks on it and sold it for neatly what i paid for it. if you want a new car go pay 25,000 at a new car dealer. Rob is providing a good product (to the best of his knowledge) at a fair price.
I hate to think of how many ignorant, unsuspecting people have fallen prey to situations like this.
I bought a truck less than a month ago. Everything seemed ok when I bought it but within a month the power steering is leaking everywhere, the ABS light has come on, there is a loud clunk when in reverse and you touch the breaks, wipers stopped working, it pulls hard to the right now and the headlights switch fails to work sometimes. When I called them they pretty much said "too bad" they are not going to stand by thier vehicles. I will never buy from these sleeze balls again or recommend them to anyone! Just an all around shady dealership!!!!
